Overlooking the blue waters of Lake Como, La Villa Regia set the scene for a wedding dream come to life. With timeless architecture and panoramic views, this editorial shoot was pure magic—full of moody romance and autumnal tones.

I had the absolute joy of designing custom menus and vow books, inspired by the timeless beauty of the villa. The wax seal featured a painting of Lake Como, as viewed from La Villa Regia’s balcony.

I chose gold wax to look like a gilded frame around the painting, hung by a delicate ribbon…

…or like a window in the villa that looks out onto the hazy lake…

…or like a locket you wear pressed against your heart. The painted bow was inspired by the undulating ribbon that adorns the villa’s frescoes.

Led by Amber Hansen Events, this shoot embraced the quieter, more intimate side of Lake Como in autumn. The muted tones of roses, hydrangeas, and chrysanthemums, paired with seasonal fruits like pomegranates and pears, created a rich autumn palette. Drapey blue linens mirrored the soft foggy color of the lake. And when the candlelight flickered in the evening, everything glowed with warmth and intimacy—all captured like Old Master fine art by the incredible India Jade Photography.
